HPT operates a full-time, 24/7 staffed Network Operations Center, providing extensive fiber network access for trans-oceanic connectivity. This includes diverse local routes and carriers, on multiple discrete local rings on island, SDH/SONET, MPLS and GigE
HPT is comprised of two separate main areas:
The Network Operations Center (NOC):
The heart of the teleport, the NOC is staffed around the clock with experienced personnel and has access to all the equipment within the teleport. Video surveillance of the site is carried out from the NOC
Aloha NAP
AlohaNAP, is a joint venture between Hawaii Pacific Teleport and datacenter experts, fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty.
Leveraging its strategic geographic location in Kapolei, Hawaii, access to the submarine cable network and Hawaii Pacific Teleport, an international satellite communications provider, AlohaNAP is creating a high bandwidth capacity ‘meet-me’ point – establishing it as a critical, strategic point of presence for trans-Pacific traffic.
